Jim Fishman

Senior Vice President/Group Publisher Jim Fishman directs ad sales and marketing for AARP media properties, where he has driven consistent growth in circulation and revenue for the past ten years. In addition to his publishing responsibilities for AARP The Magazine, AARP Bulletin and AARP VIVA su Segunda Juventud, Jim also manages sales for AARP's numerous other marketing channels, including interactive, events + broadcast. With his outstanding track record building media brands, and his acute understanding of the 50+ market, Jim has been instrumental in expanding, repositioning and energizing AARP's media properties.

Prior to joining AARP, Jim was General Manager and National Sales Manager at People, Vice President/Publisher of Audubon Magazine and Corporate Vice President/Publisher for Yankee Publishing INC. Jim has served on the Magazine Publishers of America (MPA) Board of Directors since 2003; he was inducted into min's Sales Executive Hall of Fame in 2007 for his exceptional contributions to the industry and was also named one of min's Top 21 Most Intriguing People in Media, a salute to the magazine industry's leaders, innovators, brand builders and print enthusiasts.
A graduate of Columbia College in New York, Jim has completed the AIDS Ride from Boston to New York, as well as three New York City Marathons. His current charitable projects include raising money for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

An eighteen year media veteran, Mark has served as Senior Marketing Director at ESPN ABC Sports and Research Director at Meredith Publishing and G+J USA. He is a diehard football and tennis fan, an avid music lover and an amateur photographer.

Kyle Lewis

In his capacity as Vice President of Business Development, Kyle Lewis sets the sales strategy for AARP's interactive advertising and sponsorships. Kyle is focused on ensuring members, site visitors and advertisers have beneficial experiences with AARP's interactive media. Kyle works to broaden AARP's interactive offerings by bringing new content and functionality to our interactive media thereby securing AARP as the leading online destination for the 50+ population.

Kyle began his career as a textbook salesman on Long Island before transferring to Simon and Schuster's interactive division, creating interactive educational programs. He has also worked for AOL, developing sales and business strategies for advertising and strategic partnerships, and, most recently, for Tribal DDB. A lifelong athlete and former competitive ski racer, Kyle still enjoys skiing and snowboarding, and is currently an obsessive golfer.

Ernest "Chico" Rosemond

Since joining AARP in 2001, Ernest 'Chico' Rosemond has served as the Director of Sponsorships and Exhibits. In this capacity he is responsible for the creation, development and management of AARP's largest events and expositions. Chico also serves as liaison to the AARP Services' Institutional Relationships Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors of AARP's Legal Council for the Elderly.

Prior to AARP, Chico spent time as an attorney, development officer, banker and insurance/investment broker. He serves on the board of SelfChec, a prevention and early detection health organization. A man of strong family ties, Chico still finds time to travel with his partner of 17 years.

Hugh Delehanty

As Senior Vice President/Editor in Chief of AARP Publications, Hugh Delehanty oversees America's two largest-circulation publications, AARP The Magazine and the AARP Bulletin, as well as the bilingual magazine AARP VIVA su Segunda Juventud and AARP Books. Previously an editor at Sports Illustrated, People, and Utne Reader, Hugh is the coauthor of the national bestseller Sacred Hoops: Spiritual Lessons of a Hardwood Warrior with Phil Jackson and Caring For Your Parents: The Complete Family Guide, with caregiving expert Elinor Ginzler.

An expert on baby boomers and culture, Hugh appears frequently on The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Early Show on CBS, the NBC Nightly News, and other broadcasts. He has also been a visiting professor of American Studies at Carleton College and has lectured extensively on media at Columbia, Rice, Georgetown and other universities. With more than 27 years of lifestyle and financial journalism experience, Nancy knows the varied challenges facing the 50+ community.

Prior to joining AARP, Nancy spent 17 years as a journalist for Time Inc., serving as Fortune's Los Angeles Bureau Chief, Money's senior political editor, and an insider columnist at People. Nancy appears regularly as a news and entertainment talk show guest on ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and Fox. She has won numerous journalism awards, including an Investigative Reporters and Editors Award for Money's "Why You May Be Getting the Wrong Medicine", and is on the board of Narcotic Overdose Prevention and Education (NOPE).

James Toedtman

Jim Toedman has his finger on the pulse of the primary concerns of baby boomers and 50+ Americans. As Vice President and Editor of AARP Bulletin and its online destination AARP Bulletin Today, he directs coverage on health and nutrition, personal finance and retirement planning, new careers and the challenges facing an aging society. Before joining the ranks of AARP, Jim was a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and editor for Newsday, the Boston Herald, and Baltimore News American.

Jim is an avid traveler, an enthusiastic swimmer and an extremely average golfer. He teaches frequently, including an annual visit to St. Augustine, FL, where he combines lecturing at Flagler College with his as-of-yet unsuccessful hunt for the Fountain of Youth.

Gabriela Zabalúa

Gabriela "Gaby" Zabalúa is Vice President and editor of AARP VIVA su Segunda Juventud Media, AARP's multimedia franchise which delivers bilingual resources to 50+ Hispanics and their families through a variety of media. Gaby joined AARP in 2002 as the editor of AARP Viva's print magazine, which has since evolved into the multimedia franchise AARP VIVA, including a robust online network, a weekly radio program (she is the host of AARP VIVA en la Radio), a television program (of which she is also the host, on Telemundo), podcasts, and more. In addition, Gaby serves as the organization's primary Spanish-language spokesperson on numerous topics impacting 50+ Hispanics ranging from spirituality among 50+ Hispanics to the effects of the economic downturn.

Prior to her tenure at AARP, Gaby worked in public and governmental relations, promoting international cooperation and strategic alliances through broadcast, print and online media. A graduate of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gaby is fluent in Spanish, English and French. She has two wonderful children, and is the loving owner of a white poodle named Ms. Poe.

Patricia Lippe Davis

As Vice President of Marketing, Patricia Lippe Davis leads the advertising marketing for AARP's media properties, including publications, interactive, broadcast and consumer events. With her tenure at AARP, Patricia has now held strategic and creative marketing positions at three of the world's top five circulation magazines: AARP The Magazine, Good Housekeeping and Reader's Digest. Her resume also includes stints at Time Inc. and The New York Times Company where she won several performance awards.

In addition to her mass market expertise, Patricia brings to the table first-hand knowledge of the quintessential baby boomer experience. A true member of the sandwich generation, she balances work, marriage, entertaining, fitness and time with her college-bound daughter and 81-year-old, motorcycling mother.

Bonnie Maglio

Marketing Director Bonnie Maglio is responsible for directing the marketing activities of AARP Media Sales, including 360° integrated sales opportunities and multi-media programs. Bonnie has leveraged a portfolio of accomplishments covering marketing, consumer + client events, promotion, sales and trade advertising with a history of successes in mediums from mass to class. She has been a key contributor and strategist in the fields of publishing and cable for more than two decades. Peter Zeuschner

Peter Zeuschner is the Northeast Media Sales Manager for all of AARP's media, including AARP The Magazine, AARP Bulletin and AARP.org. In addition, he is the National Sales Manager for AARP VIVA su Segunda Juventud, the first and only bilingual publication serving the ever-growing 50+ Hispanic market. Before joining the ranks at AARP, Peter was the National Advertising Sales Manager for Discover, part of Disney Publications.

His personal passions include spending his time with his four children and competitive sailboat racing, in fact, Peter has participated in several national and world championship regattas.

Features Editor Bill Newcott is the voice of AARP's Movies for Grownups franchise across all media: in print, online, and on the air. Throughout his career, he has been an outspoken crusader for movies that entertain audiences while simultaneously stimulating them intellectually and emotionally.

Prior to his tenure at AARP, Bill spent ten years at National Geographic Magazine, where he wrote more bylined articles than any other contributor during that span. His broad spectrum of interests led him to cover such diverse topics as the Tower of London, Las Vegas, and Mars. A proud graduate of Rutgers University, Bill fervently claims to be from the Bronx, despite the fact that his family relocated to New Jersey two weeks after his birth.

Marilyn Milloy

As Deputy Editor, Marilyn Milloy manages AARP's feature editorial staff, oversees the story lineup and works to expand the world's largest circulation magazine's online presence. Marilyn has served as features editor of AARP The Magazine since 2007 and most recently conceived and developed "1968: The Year that Rocked our World", the print and online package that won AARP its first ever National Magazine Award.

Marilyn's eclectic interests were cultivated during her 13 years as a national correspondent and Southern Bureau Chief for New York's Newsday and as a senior editor for the national health magazine Heart & Soul. However, her professional experience is not the primary influence on her passions. She credits her family for truly expanding her horizons. A mother of teenage children and a daughter of parents in their 80's, Marilyn's pursuits range from hip hop and baseball to elder care and cook-to-freeze meals.

Margaret Guroff

Drawing upon a fascination with psychology, Features Editor Margaret Guroff delivers AARP The Magazine's readers the latest news and advice on how to spark and strengthen relationships with family, friends and partners. Margaret's personal love of the arts also drives her to write for the publication's entertainment section. Prior to joining AARP, she held a wide variety of assignments as both a reporter and editor in Baltimore and Washington, DC.

A true Renaissance woman, Margaret serves as a member of John Hopkins University's graduate writing program faculty; is the editor and publisher of Power Moby-Dick, an online annotation of Herman Melville's classic novel; and plays bass in her rock band, The Charm Offensive.

Ken comes to AARP from Common Ground, a magazine for people who run condominium and homeowner associations, where he served as Editor. His intense interest in volunteerism has led him to work in New Orleans and Costa Rica, and he has recently written a service piece on volunteerism for Worldview, the magazine of the Peace Corps.

Carol Simons

As Executive Editor, Carol Simons has made her mark at AARP Bulletin on the finance, retirement, work and Social Security coverage, as well as the popular weekly "Save a Buck" column. Carol has been passionately covering the issues that affect 50+ Americans at AARP for more than ten years.

After spending time at Newsweek, the Denver Post and various other news publications, Carol lived and worked in Asia for twenty years. Recent additions to her life include a puppy, five grandchildren, and a bridge hobby, illustrating the essence of life at 50+: learning across a lifetime, exploring new possibilities and planning for a future that includes working longer.
